Cool Custom Cake!

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010
Last weekend we got to attend a wedding as guests! It was awesome! Steve and Lloyd met in grade one and have been great friends ever since. There is only one problem when you have been friends that long -  you remember doing things that were cool way back then but are really lame nowadays....  like dancing and rapping to Vanilla Ice as shown below...  Hmmmmm, oh well. Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography lol. Anyways, I knew I married a geek long ago, but Steve and Rita decided to make being a geek part of their wedding styling. Check out this… Read More

Why Our Grooms ROCK!! It started with the ring…

Saturday, August 14th, 2010
Okay, so jewelry isn't everything by any means, but it is a nice start and Kurtis definitely got it right! Just look at the faces of the people checking out Lindsay's awesome rings! Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography I'm sure it's not the ring that won Lindsay's heart. Marrying Kurtis made Lindsay so happy she was running - yes, running - in her wedding dress! Trust me, running in a big white dress DOWN a grassy hill is quite the accomplishment. Copyright(C) 2010 Night and… <a href=Read More

Why Our Grooms ROCK!!! Jacob is Just Awesome… he just is!

Sunday, August 1st, 2010
You know there are just some people out there who are effortlessly awesome.  Jacob just IS one of these people. I mean seriously, if he wasn't awesome, would Janis let him dip her on this teeny tiny little staircase going up a rock wall?  I don't think so.  And he does it effortlessly and with ONE hand, might I add. Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography And look at him here... Effortlessly taking on 4 thugs (well, okay, they aren't thugs, they are his groomsmen, but they are trying to tear him away from Janis which is unforgivable lol)... Read More

Why our Grooms ROCK!!! Taking care of the bride!

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010
Meet Joey, the awesome guy that married Odessa.    This guy is probably the friendliest person on the universe.  It didn't matter where we went for photos, he was constantly running into people he knew.   Anyways, how did he end up with a gorgeous amazing girl like Odessa? Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography Well, a great kiss goes a long way to capturing a girl's affections....  as does taking her for coffee when she needs a bit of a caffeine fix. Why Our Grooms ROCK!! Relax and Enjoy!

Saturday, June 12th, 2010
There are just so much to remember the day of the wedding, things to do, places to be.  It can easily become quite the scramble.   Not for Nate though, he was on top of everything!   Even though he gets credit for the groomsman who showered and was ready in under 10 minutes (kudos by the way),  Nate kept things pretty relaxed.   Why so relaxed?  Well - it probably had something to do with the fact he was marrying such an awesome girl - but I think it also helped that he was organized.    For example, Nate actually had a note on the door to remind them to bring the rings.  It totally eliminated the stress of trying to remember… Read More

Venues in Review: St. Joachim Catholic Church

Monday, June 7th, 2010
Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography I've been dying to see inside this church since I spied it from 109 street a few years back. It beautiful. Classic read brick, beautiful detailing, stained glass, bell tower... what's not to love. It's tucked into the trees and apartment buildings near the legislature so I went years without even knowing it existed. For those wondering, St. Joachim Catholic Church is located at 9924 - 110 street in Edmonton. Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day PhotographyRead More
