Raman and Indy, Married and dancing!

Anyhow, we gathered at their house to start the day, where Raman and Indy were getting ready!

Of course there were traditional ceremonies to follow.

And then off to the temple for the sikh wedding ceremony!

Raman and Indy braved the outdoors for a few minutes! It wasn’t warm that’s for sure!

Man I love the temple!

We stopped on a road in Sherwood park by their house, but the winds were so crazy that we could barely stand out there for more than a minute!

So we moved the photoshoot to the shelter of the house. awwwww…

So Raman and Indy, congratulations! It was an eventful day and a lot of plans had to be changed, so thanks for rolling with it! I had a great time and I’m sure you did too! Thanks for letting me be a part and we’ll talk again soon!

I love how City Hall turns their fountain pool into a skating rink for the winter. Brilliant!

The Art Gallery always provides an interesting backdrop!

And to warm up after the shoot, we stopped in at Starbucks. James and Candice got some green tea steamers which turns your tongues green… haha.

It was an super fun outing on a beautiful winter afternoon! Thanks so much guys, and we’ll see you again in August!!! Can’t wait!

Here is Melissa getting all prettied up. Just how beautiful is she???

Melissa and Prab, doing what they do most together: laugh. The ceremony was at the Art Gallery of Alberta.

And Prab being goofy, as per usual. This guy had everybody laughing all day!

Just outside city hall, they have a public ball hockey setup and skating rink. So naturally the guys got a game of hockey started.

We got warmed up at Commerce Place.

One of the best things about winter weddings is that the daylight is always at a beautiful angle.

The reception was at the Mirage, and was beautifully styled!

And of course, the first dance, followed by a big party!

It was an amazing wedding of love, devotion, and laughter, and we were so lucky to have been a part of it! Melissa, we loved your gentle demeanour, and Prab’s seemingly infinite humour. It was such a fun day! Keep in touch and we’ll talk to you soon!

The earth decided to send brutally cold winds our way that day, but we managed by running into the car to warm up between each shot! whew!

The staff at the Blue Plate Diner were kind enough to vacate their hangout area for us to get a shot.

We then went to the Legislature for some trees and snow, and oddly, it was actually less windy there.

They are such a cute couple!

Christal and Lee, thanks so much for not whining about the cold! You were such great sports and I had a blast despite the cold!

And just as expected, the skies cleared and the sun was shining by the time I met up with Laura and Albert. haha, typical Calgary.

Stephen Ave was pretty quiet, but with the snow just stopped, people were starting to venture outside again.

I just loved the colours of the store, and the fact that they also stocked exact replica statues of Laura and Albert… LOL!

Like I said, blue skies.

Walking Stephen Ave is one of my most favourite things to do in Calgary.

Then we headed to the Peace Bridge…

…just in time to catch the amazing sunset! At that point, it got REALLY cold and windy so we packed it in.

What can I say? It turned out to be a fabulous, fun day! I can’t wait until the wedding!

Anna and Kevin get married just a couple days before Christmas! What a big way to party for the season!

Anyhow, we caught up with Anna as she was getting all the beauty preparations done, and she looked fabulous!

First Dance!

Congratulations Anna and Kevin! Since we first met I instantly loved you guys! So I knew I would totally love your wedding, and it didn’t disappoint! Thanks for ending my 2012 wedding season in fine style! It was an honour to be there! Thanks again, and huge congrats!

I love October weddings. The sun shines at beautiful low angles all day, it isn’t brutally hot outside, and the colours are so vibrant!

And to top it all off, Trista and Glen are good friends or Merry and I, so it was extra awesome!

Sunflowers are so fitting for this time of year. I loved the bouquet!

And here comes the bride!

Everyone looks happy! (For those of us who know Trista, we know seeing her without a big smile on her face is a rarity)

And then off for the photosession!

We went to the Muttart as they have a sentimental attachment to it. This was where they had their first date, and this is also where Glen proposed to Trista! So it was only befitting to come here!

And of course, Trista being Trista. She just never stops having fun.

We booked the very vintage 1912 High Level Bridge Streetcar for the session! Still in operation!

Going over the North Saskatechewan River, one of the highest streetcar crossings in the world!

We then stopped for some cute photos on the tracks.

And the reception was best described as a party. Lots of laughs, lots of fun!

So a big, fat, huge congrats out to Trista and Glen! It was such an honour to photograph your wedding as your friends! It was so much fun and the party was epic! Thank you so much for trusting us with your photographs; we hope these bring you happiness for many many years!
