I have to admit, I'm a bit sad. Recently, my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GS-R V6 was sold and the new owner is picking it up in a couple days.  I have to say, this car really is a hoot to drive.  It's the first car I've ever owned where I didn't want to change anything on it.  I liked how it looked, how it handled, and how it drove.  Usually, I nitpick about damping, spring rates, and wheel/tire sizes but not so in this case. Simon is a jolly funny little guy,  he also suffers from gastrointestinal reflux - pretty common stuff, but it means our lives are a bit more interesting.  He has to be elevated at all times, pukes a lot - sometimes with a 5 foot spread, and takes medicine daily.  The medicine has made a HUGE difference, but the dose is quickly outgrown and needs to be adjusted often. This means that he has pain, on top of all the throw-up and makes him a bit touchy.  He is full of smiles, but he has very clear opinions on what he DOES and does NOT like. I've been talking with a local model in regards to a shoot to update her portfolio. We had finally decided it was time to get it done, especially since the weather has warmed up a whole lot! I turned it into a "Shop Talk" experience by bringing along a couple of other shooters who wanted some insight into professional lighting. So we were joined by Jens (pronounced "Yentz") and Darryl (all the way from Ottawa!). We created a stop-motion video of the shoot that shows some of the differences in lighting techniques, and some of the problems we addressed.
