Merry says: So, everyone knows opposites attract, right? Well the fact of the matter is Lloyd and I have opposite opinions on many things, but food is probably a big one. Let's take breakfast for instance. Now as a white chick, breakfast to me is waffles, eggs benny, crepes, oatmeal, muffins, fruit, hash browns and the like. My favourite special occasion breakfast is probably waffles. My parents were very practical and breakfast was always oatmeal. But, when we visited my cousins, my aunt would often make us waffles served with ice cream and fruit topping. Lloyd thinks this is ridiculous, because as an Asian dude, a great breakfast… Read More

It seems every guy you meet has got a tip on how to impress the ladies... And Kristeena is definitely a lady worth impressing! So, how did Wayne do it? Well, from what we observed, he treated her like the queen she is. Wayne was there to help her with her dress, was attentive to her needs, helped her with her flowers and always had a witty remark or funny story to put a smile on everyone's face, including hers. Let's face it. A wedding is probably the biggest, most extravagant, and yes, the most expensive party each of us will ever throw. It's a lot of work! And, a heck of a lot of fun too! In the spirit of fun, and to give their feet a much needed break, Ben and Danielle cozied up on the blanket for a few moments to take a gag photo. Then a passer by, who saw the bride and groom with a shoe full of money, decided to contribute. It was hilarious! Read More
Well, as promised, I am back for the Monthly World News, according to me, Simon. I rang in my fourth month with the usual photo shoot. Dad thought it would be a wonderful idea to dress me up like a fisherman. I can only assume that this means he will be forcing this hobby on me as I get older, regardless of my desire to fish or not. I'm sure there will be many hobbies of dad's that I will be unwillingly obligated to enjoy. And yes, that is a real fishing rod... not even a kids' version or anything. Dad tells me kids' versions of fishing gear is "overpriced and work like junk". Read More
I remember reading fairy tales when I was a kid. They always ended with Happily Ever After. But how do you get there? Jonathan must have studied fairy tales in detail. Here he is holding Anna's hand as they stroll off into the sunset... ... and doesn't every great fairy tale involve an awesome dance? Jonathan and Anna waltzed to Sleeping Beauty and it was just like in the Disney movie too! Read More
I hope this weekend was great for all you moms out there! It was a beautiful day here in Edmonton (though rather unstable at times). One of the things that marks Mother's day here is the Annual Mother's Day Run and Walk! This year it's through the beautiful river valley so I took the opportunity to snap some pics for a short, 1 minute stop motion video. Take a look!
