Maternity and Family with Kathy, Clem, Kalan, and Samara!

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010
Kathy, Clem, and Kalan came up to Edmonton from Calgary to get some family and maternity photos done. It was pretty close to her due date; I guess Kathy likes to live dangerously. =) Baby Samara has arrived, and all is wonderful! Congrats you guys! Sharing a laugh =) Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography Kalan using Samara as an armrest. My sister used to do that to me, until I outgrew her. Pam and Ben seal the deal!

Saturday, September 25th, 2010
I was pretty stoked to be able to shoot Pam and Ben's wedding. They chose a unique location at the Sunridge Ski lodge right within the Edmonton city limits. The view and scenery from the ski hill is beautiful, overlooking Edmonton's gorgeous river valley. The weather was beautiful too; it really was a perfect day, with a perfect couple! Started out downtown at the Westin where the girls were getting prettied up! Here is a closeup of Pam's awesome dress. Do I do family photos? YES!!

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010
I often get asked if I do family photos... I guess that is because my website and blog are heavy on wedding content, though that will be changing soon. But, yes, I enjoy doing other types of photography as well! In the past I sometimes have delivered them directly to the client without posting them online, as was the case with this shoot I did last year. But not anymore! Here are a few highlights from that family shoot. I was super excited to finally be able to offer some really nice fold-able press printed cards in addition to our flat photo printed cards! Check these out! Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography They aren't archival paper like the photo card, but the print quality is amazing, and the paper is such a great weight and texture. AND you can customize something inside AND on the back! Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography Read More

Helen and Francis crank up the good times!

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
The sky threatened some unfriendly weather all day for Helen and Francis. Luckily it didn't get ugly, but even if it did it wouldn't have made a difference. Everyone was so happy and absorbed into the happenings of the VERY busy day. The bouquet Copyright(C) 2010 Night and Day Photography It all started at Helen's place. Francis and the guys arrived with offerings in the Vietnamese tradition. Of course, whipping handfuls of confetti into the groom's face is also tradition, right? Hahaha Read More
