We got to shoot something a little different. We were contacted to do a photoshoot for a stagette party! Well, not of the actual party. We shot some portraits of the group of girls getting together to party! They figured that since they were getting all dressed and dolled up, why not get some amazing photos? We met up with Lindsey and Chris on an absolutely gorgeous evening for a super fun e-shoot! Yes, we lucked out and got one of the days where it WASN'T raining. Seriously, what is with all this rain? It's certainly unusual! Sharing some laughs!

We used one of the amazingly beautiful downtown parks. It was a great day for a stroll.

It was a rather odd day in Edmonton on June 18. It was raining. A lot. Constantly. It's pretty rare for it to rain more than 20 minutes straight here, so a REALLY rainy day is a big surprise. But Sonia, being the sweetheart that she is, never looked bothered or upset about it, despite planning an outdoor ceremony. We are very lucky to shoot for brides like Sonia! As per usual, the rain did stop in the afternoon, but the ceremony was in the morning. The show must go on! Here are her fabulous shoes!

It was my lucky day. I got to visit a town that I had never been to before! I went to Legal, AB, which is only about 45 minutes out of town. It's a very charming town, and it's unique characteristic is that there are painted murals all over the place on various buildings. Anyhow, a big storm was moving in on my way into town. The wind was quite fierce; we almost canceled the shoot! But we decided to go ahead anyways, and I'm glad we did! The sky was looking pretty angry and the wind was a challenge.
