I am Simon. I am Nine. Months.

Shalom everyone!

I apologize for the tardiness of this issue of the Monthly World Report. My assistant and support staff (my dad) inconvenienced me by leaving the continent for a couple of weeks to shoot people other than me! What was he thinking?

Anyhow, late is better than never, so here we go!

Since it’s almost Halloween, mommy and daddy thought it would be a great idea dress me up as a pumpkin for my 9 month portrait. (The messy hair was mommy’s idea)  Halloween is daddy’s favourite fun day… he loves scaring kids that come to our door!

Now onto the generic snapshots!

The leaves were falling this month!  Especially in our backyard.  No leaves one day, then overnight, our yard was COVERED!

Something about autumn makes mommy and daddy really happy.  I guess that makes me happy too!

Seriously, sometimes I just don’t know what daddy is thinking.  I’m not even a teenager and he already embarrasses me!

The walks in the river valley were so beautiful this past month!

Then I took my first trip to Fantasyland!  (I mean, Galaxyland.  Daddy STILL forgets they changed the name, even though it’s been 15 years since)

Look at me on the merry-go-round!  I think I was going AT LEAST 785 miles per hour!  It was intense!  I was holding on for my life!  If mommy had remembered to put my shoes on, I’m sure I would have hit 800 mph.  But safety first, right?

Then daddy and I rescued some people in the fire truck.  Daddy actually managed to fit into the tiny front seat with me, but the staff kicked him out and he was sent to the back of the truck.  Like a true Albertan, I drove with my left arm out the window.

I took the liberty of crawling around the mall to show mommy and daddy where we should go.

And this little set of drawers is where all my diapers and diaper supplies are held.  Ironically, this is also where I go to stand and hold on tight while I bear down and poo.

Here I am at our local playground.  I love the slide!

And sometimes, I get tired of having a camera in my face.  Here I am practicing the “Hollywood actor pushing a paparazzi away” move.  Gotta get it down before hitting the real world!

I also helped mommy rake the leaves… in a vital, supervisory sort of way.

And this month also marked my first visit to the zoo!!!  I had a lot of fun especially with the sea lions and monkeys.

So thanks for stopping by! Please drop a line and say hello!

You need to save the picture of Simon holding onto the set of drawers, along with the description, and bust that out at his wedding.

He will love it, I PROMISE YOU!!!!

Hahaha. Yeah, that would be a good one to bust out at the wedding. Of course, he might disown me after that. LOL. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he banned me from his wedding. =)

Kristine, I think we’ll go for a bit of trick or treating. But I need to be home so I can hand out candy! It’s one of my favourite times of year! I love scaring kids… hahaha. I just picked up an accessory in England for my costume! I can’t wait! I dress up, set up scary music, fake thunder and lightning, smoke machine, orange lights… the works. I love it!

hahaha, that is awesome, Lloyd! I wasn’t sure if you were into Halloween… I plan to be back home right away after trick or treating as well to give out candy, but I don’t know how to scare kids because I just end up laughing at myself for trying. Make sure you take pics of your costumes! Aww so excited for Baby Simon’s first Halloween.
