STIHL and an NHL Hall of Famer!
Sunday, April 3rd, 2011
I had the fortune of shooting a corporate event recently for STIHL Limited. This wasn't like most corporate events though, they brought NHL hall of famer MIKE BOSSY as a speaker! Wow, I was a total Mike Bossy fan, as well as his teammate John Tonelli. Remember the 1984 Canada Cup anyone??? booya!! Kickass! Ok, it might be a little bit of a faux pas to mention that I liked the Islanders... especially considering Bossy and Tonelli overpowered the Oilers in the 1983 Stanley Cup finals. But don't worry, I'm still a bigtime Oilers fan! Anyhow, the event was at the ever popular River Cree Resort.

Classy wedding with Jocelyn and Vince!
Wednesday, October 6th, 2010
I was looking forward to Jocelyn and Vince's wedding. I knew it was going to be well organized and smooth, once I got Vince's huge "wedding manual/timeline", which Vince said was going to run with "military precision". Hahaha. True to form, it ran like a well oiled machine. I met up with Joce at Eveline Charles at West Ed. It had been recently moved/renovated, and now looks about 100 times nicer!!
I love the messy stage of the hair process. Make for great pictures! hahaha

Four days with Pragati and Arvind!
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009
I had the fortune of spending 4 utterly fantastic days with Pragati, Arvind, and their families and friends. Amazing would be one way to describe it. Delicious would be another. (I love Indian food) There was so much going on that this is going to be a loooong post so bear with me, and be sure to watch the slideshow at the end; it's worth it! ;)
The first day was at very beautiful and classy Oasis Conference Centre. The traditions began that night.

I loved their shoes!

Jamie and Homer – USA meets Canada
Thursday, September 17th, 2009
We had a fantastic time with Jamie and Homer. It was such an amazing turnout considering Homer's half was from California. Good thing it wasn't a cold weekend to scare the Californians away from Edmonton forever! =) This was actually their second wedding. Their first ceremony was in California.
The morning was quite relaxed and fun

Beautiful bouquet.

Thuan and Aref seal the deal!
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008
The day started off in a very colourful, traditional Vietnamese way. Everyone was decked out in awesome, vibrant colours!

And of course, the universal east Asian tea ceremony.

Aref and his brothers, dressed up in traditional threads, felt compelled to strike up some martial arts poses. (More the in link below)
