It was as beautiful spring day for Laura and Albert's wedding. The timing was great with the blossoms out looking beautiful!

It was extra special for me as the morning tea ceremonies were right in the neighbourhood that I grew up in in Calgary.

Sharing a moment in the backyard.

This was a very special wedding for me. Jared, one of my closest friends, was getting married! I was also assigned as best man and I also did the formal photos while my other very competent shooters (Merry and Mike) covered the ceremony and reception. He was going to marry a girl named Kate. Ironically, I've known Kate a lot longer than I've known Jared. Coincidentally, Kate and I went to the same junior high, in Calgary. What are the odds? I first met Kate about 23 years ago, though I'm pretty sure she doesn't remember that... hahahaha. Anyhow, I was thrilled at the news! So here came the wedding day. All I can say is... I'm so happy for my…

I met up with Omar and Shyrana on a very rainy evening. But being the brave souls they were, they did not want to reschedule. Sounds good to me! Rain never scared me. Fortunately, 10 minutes into the shoot the rain slowed to a very light mist. Awesome!

No umbrellas needed!

So we had the flexibility to shoot wherever we…

This is a bit of a special e-shoot for me. Jared is one of my close friends (and actually lives right across the street from me) and Kate and I went to the same junior high... in Calgary. It really is a small world! Anyhow, I was overthrilled (is that a word?) when I found out they were engaged! woo hoo! So on to the pictures! The glass at the Muttart is always cool. As is the downtown skyline!

They were laughing and joking all evening. Too cute!

I had the wonderful privilege to shoot some maternity photos for my oldest friend Steve and his wife (and equally awesome friend), Rita. They live in Calgary but came up to Edmonton to pick up some baby stuff! So we took the chance to get some bump photos! I live right beside the Mill Creek Ravine so walked out of my house and just started shooting! You look so beautiful, Rita!
Edit: I just got word that Amelia just arrived and is doing well! Congrats Rita and Steve!
Steve-o…

Dana and Vince were pretty pumped up about their e-shoot. They knew they wanted it to be dramatic and different, so they planned it accordingly. So they booked restaurants for their shoot. Restaurants? Certainly not a common place for an e-shoot so of course, that gets ME excited. Not too sure what to expect, we met up at L1 Lounge in West Edmonton Mall. It was dark and full of people having morning brunch! But soon most of the people disappeared and the shoot took place! This photo was actually taken in the tiny VLT room in the corner. I thought the curtain and lights added some nice elements. Vince (or Vincenzo, to be precise) is Italian, and…

I always love seeing our past brides and grooms again. Typically it's because they're either pregnant or had a baby! In Joce and Vince's case, they were pregnant! Woo hoo!! Jocelyn looked fabulous. She's such a tiny little girl, it must be hard to haul around a baby bump!

Coco was VERY enthusiastic for the shoot... hahaha

This Easter I had the treat of photographing Katia and Tony's wedding! It was a gorgeous day and the Hotel MacDonald never disappoints. Katia getting ready.

Saying thanks to her future mother in law after being given a gift from Tiffany & Co. Who wouldn't be happy?

Katia and her mom and sister. It was funny, when they lined…
