This was a very special wedding for me. Jared, one of my closest friends, was getting married! I was also assigned as best man and I also did the formal photos while my other very competent shooters (Merry and Mike) covered the ceremony and reception. He was going to marry a girl named Kate. I had the wonderful privilege to shoot some maternity photos for my oldest friend Steve and his wife (and equally awesome friend), Rita. They live in Calgary but came up to Edmonton to pick up some baby stuff! So we took the chance to get some bump photos! Dana and Vince were pretty pumped up about their e-shoot. They knew they wanted it to be dramatic and different, so they planned it accordingly. So they booked restaurants for their shoot. Restaurants? Certainly not a common place for an e-shoot so of course, that gets ME excited. Not too sure what to expect, we met up at L1 Lounge in West Edmonton Mall. It was dark and full of people having morning brunch! But soon most of the people disappeared and the shoot took place! This photo was actually taken in the tiny VLT room in the corner.
