I was really looking forward to Courtney and Mike's wedding as their
River Valley Engagement Session was so fun and super cute! They are just such a fun happy duo that it's hard not to smile and laugh when you are around them! Anyhow, Courtney was stunning for her grand entrance.

You could tell how overjoyed Mike was.

This is a bit of a special e-shoot for me. Jared is one of my close friends (and actually lives right across the street from me) and Kate and I went to the same junior high... in Calgary. It really is a small world! Anyhow, I was overthrilled (is that a word?) when I found out they were engaged! woo hoo! So on to the pictures! The glass at the Muttart is always cool. As is the downtown skyline!

They were laughing and joking all evening. Too cute!

When I first met Randi and Jer, I knew I was going to enjoy this wedding very much! Their focus was just about having fun and not to stress about any part of the day. And it was definitely a fun day! We met up with the gang at the stylish Mettera Hotel. Randi's dress was gorgeous and suited her perfectly!

Jer and the guys were getting ready just two floors down.

I had the unique opportunity to be a part of an actual proposal! I usually meet couples well after the proposal has happened, but Rajat and Aanchal are by no means ordinary in any way. Including the fact that they booked me for their wedding before they were actually engaged. Hahaha. So Rajat had it all planned out. Follow along to see how it unfolded. He had a beautiful cake made specially for the occasion! There was a jewelery box made of fondant where he would place the ring.

Meet Joey, the awesome guy that married Odessa. This guy is probably the friendliest person on the universe. It didn't matter where we went for photos, he was constantly running into people he knew. Anyways, how did he end up with a gorgeous amazing girl like Odessa?

Well, a great kiss goes a long way to capturing a girl's affections.... as does taking her for coffee when she needs a bit of a caffeine fix.

It promised to be an eventful day with Jennifer and Randy. Lots of traditions and games were in the schedule, which I love! And they sure didn't disappoint! The games the guys had to go through in the morning were definitely the worst I have seen at a Chinese wedding. Actually, make that ANY wedding. They started by taking shots, eating raw eggs, cottage cheese mixed with nasty stuff, fish sauce, you name it.

Then Randy had to do the "egg through the pants" game on his crew. For those who don't know, you gotta slide…

We had a real treat shooting a very special Best Friends Forever shoot with Andrea and Stephanie.
All I can really say is, these two are just ADORABLE together! They really bring out the smiles and laughter in each other so it's easy to see how they're BFF!
And where else other than Whyte Ave for a bit of fun?

Hello? Umm yeah, we're hot. Bye! =)

I knew Melania and Kent's wedding was going to be awesome. Ukrainian weddings really suit me well. Good times, great people, great food... everything I like! =)
Their wedding was no exception!
Melania and the girls started out at Eveline Charles for hair and makeup.

We then met up with the guys where they took Kent down while playing football... hahah. Oh the tough life of the groomsmen! hahaha

If you thought planning one wedding was tough, how about planning and carrying out TWO weddings, in two totally different countries, two completely different sets of vendors, and only spaced 10 days apart? Well, somehow Maddy and Josh managed to plan it all and carry it through in great spirits. Night and Day were flattered to be their chosen photographer for the Canadian version of their wedding. =)
