Fashion in Paris, France!

Paris is certainly a unique and beautiful city. So many beautiful details everywhere, always crowded and bustling with activity. (At least, this is how it was in central Paris where I stayed) It was quite a contrast to where I was in Geneva.

One thing I learned is that people generally seem to eat dinner late... like after 9pm. Before then they eat and drink at places called "Brasserie". It's like having two dinners in one night. And I totally forgot that entrées are appetizers, unlike North America where we butchered it into meaning the main course. It messed me up on my first food order. hahaha.

It was raining for most of the time I was in Paris. It was also windy and very cold. I heard it was 18C in Edmonton at the time, to which I said, "what?" It made the shoot quite challenging for all involved and limited our options, but we still came away with some great stuff!

Luisa, who came in from Germany for the shoot, also brought along her boyfriend. So I roped him into some pictures to get some e-shoot style photos. hahaha.

We then went to the other side of the tower, but really, it was crowded all around the place.

Carousels must be a big thing there. I saw about four of them in the limited areas I explored.

We then went to the Arc de Triomphe. The Arc is surrounded by a big traffic circle. I observed the traffic for a minute, and couldn't figure out how people don't die every 5 seconds in there. There are a billion cars blasting in, no road lines so everyone makes their own lanes, and the people on the inside manage to cut through 5 improvised lanes of traffic to make their exit, some people driving really fast, some people stopped. It's mayhem. So we did the logical thing and tried to shoot amidst a bit of the mayhem. Not IN the circle, but just outside of it. It was interesting. hahaha.

We then went to the Louvre. I loved the pyramids!

But the surrounding architecture was gorgeous too!

More Louvre. So much to shoot there!

And we finished off at the Pont du Carrousel.

At this point, it was time to say bye and WARM UP! Good grief was it cold! I could barely feel my fingers anymore. Hope you enjoyed this part of the tour!
