Sharon and Mike's 'Light Industrial' Engagement!

When we got together with Sharon and Mike, we were told that they were looking for a 'light industrial' theme. I wasn't too sure what that meant, but I was really looking forward to it because it sure sounded like some serious awesomeness!!

Well, we were right, it was DEFINITELY fun! Sharon and Mike were so fun to hang out with; they were constantly laughing and joking around. The joke of the day was Napoleon Dynamite quotes. They even practiced the 'fist under the chin' pose Uncle Rico used. hahaha. It was great!

From streets under construction, train yards, discarded rail ties, steamrollers, practically condemned buildings, alleyways (with garbage scattered around), and even trash cans, the shoot went from light industrial to light trash.... ooops. But Sharon and Mike seemed more than happy to go along with anything, and we got some great pictures in the meantime! (Those two are so happy together they would have even had a great time in a pit of molten lava! None available for the shoot though...)

The asphalt was torn out on the road to the railyard, so we had to park and walk it.

Let's try some train hopping:

And a huge pile of discarded, rotted railway ties:

This old church was the cleanest building in the area! =)

...and they're STILL smiling and laughing. (They are standing right beside some trash bins in a messy alley)

You guys ROCK! Again, thanks for taking us on this little industrial adventure. It was so much fun and we saw a bit of Calgary we never really experienced before. Looking forward to the outdoor wedding!
